Davi Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazinho de Lara having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, M.O.T.OR fc's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Botelho came free, but Mazinho de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mazinho de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Adrianinho do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazinho de Lara having to interfere. Mazinho de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Pernambucano in the 24th minute of play. After 33 played minutes M.O.T.OR fc got a freekick which was hit by Nilson Favoretto. After recieving a nice pass, Capella's Adalberto Perez tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jairo Penha hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Júnior Tavares acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nilson Favoretto. A collision led to Capella getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Adalberto Perez hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th match minute, Capella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Júnior Tavares came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by M.O.T.OR fc's Gonçalo Faria. But to his dismay, Gonçalo Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gonçalo Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, M.O.T.OR fc's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho do Vale came free, but Mazinho de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Manuel de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. M.O.T.OR fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel de Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júnior Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nelson das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. M.O.T.OR fc's Nelson das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mazinho de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Mazinho de Lara made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Davi Prado sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute Adrianinho do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute Nelson das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. M.O.T.OR fc were victorious despite being under pressure from Capella for much of the match.
