With a little luck, Cadori AD's Fabinho Pena got control of the ball when Thiago Paes tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Calabaca AD getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Yuri Tavares hit a great ball. Fabinho Pena made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Thiago Paes sent off a good shot on target. Fernando Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute of the match Dé Castro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vânderson Souto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Calabaca AD's zone, Fernando Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vânderson Souto came out of the goal and Fernando Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vânderson Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Machado in the 37th minute of play. Walmir Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vânderson Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Botelho in the 42nd minute of the match. Mazinho Perez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabinho Pena came out and tried to block the shot, but Mazinho Perez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Mazinho Perez made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Calabaca AD's zone, Fernando Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vânderson Souto came out of the goal and Fernando Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calabaca AD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zé Pedro Freitas 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Calabaca AD's goalkeeper Vânderson Souto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernando Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute, Walmir Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Walmir Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Vânderson Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Walmir Machado came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Cadori AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmir Machado couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Cadori AD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Calabaca AD throughout the match.
