When Guveia's Jerônimo de Toledo in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cedral's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibúrcio Lago in the 13th minute of play forced Guveia's goalkeeper Dagoberto Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerônimo de Toledo couldn't finish the play. Ramiro de Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clemente Eger's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. If Jerônimo de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerônimo de Toledo in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro de Queiroz saved Cedral from getting behind. Jerônimo de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ramiro de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo de Toledo in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Clemente Eger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guveia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 42 played minutes Guveia got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Queiroz. Jerônimo de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro de Queiroz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Eger in the 47th minute of play forced Cedral's goalkeeper Ramiro de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Clemente Eger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. If Clemente Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute.
