Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SC Blue Bird's Tostão Rosado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Guveia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clemente Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Ceresso having to interfere. Guveia's Clemente Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jerônimo de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Ceresso having to interfere. Tales Ceresso came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Guveia's Clemente Eger. But to his dismay, Clemente Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Clemente Eger took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tales Ceresso. Tales Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Juvenal Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juvenal Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Juvenal Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Tales Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th of the match, Jerônimo de Toledo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Tales Ceresso got in the way and made a wonderful save. 42 minutes into the match, Guveia's Clemente Eger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tales Ceresso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Clemente Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tales Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dino de Mendonça hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerônimo de Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Agostinho Monteiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Dagoberto Mota made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Tostão Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Blue Bird's supporters rose to their feet, but Tostão Rosado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dagoberto Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agostinho Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, SC Blue Bird's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo de Toledo came free, but Tales Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Blue Bird's Lenílson Monteiro got a free kick in the 68th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Clemente Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guveia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Clemente Eger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tales Ceresso. SC Blue Bird's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Eger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The supporters of Guveia booed when SC Blue Bird was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murilo Hermes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tales Ceresso. SC Blue Bird's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Clemente Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Tales Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
