In the 14th match minute, Brioso EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes Winterhell FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrício Matorin. Winterhell FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Dráuzio Pitta scored to the left of an out of position Oswaldo Nóbrega, making the score, 1-1. Oswaldo Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Gomes in the 21st minute of the match. When Brioso EC's Clemente Gomes in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Winterhell FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Toledo in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. The tension between the Brioso EC and the Winterhell FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brioso EC's Luisão Jacinto got a free kick in the 31st minute. Jonas Perez made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Clemente Gomes. Evaristo Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Patrício Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winterhell FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrício Matorin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agostinho Mello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Toledo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agostinho Mello saved Brioso EC from getting behind. Patrício Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Mello having to interfere. Doriva Zilles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Mello having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Toledo in the 45th minute of play forced Brioso EC's goalkeeper Agostinho Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaristo Toledo was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Clemente Gomes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oswaldo Nóbrega was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 62 minutes into the match, Brioso EC's goalkeeper Agostinho Mello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Toledo. Dráuzio Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Evaristo Toledo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Agostinho Mello when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Pitta in the 65th minute of play forced Winterhell FC's goalkeeper Oswaldo Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes in the game Jonas Perez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dráuzio Pitta. 68 minutes into the game, one of Winterhell FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Oswaldo Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The supporters of Brioso EC booed when Winterhell FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulysses Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Winterhell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Falcão came free, but Oswaldo Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oswaldo Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Breckenfeld in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Brioso EC's Dráuzio Pitta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oswaldo Nóbrega made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Evaristo Toledos short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Agostinho Mello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brioso EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Winterhell FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
