The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Maria Hames showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Raptors United's Ulysses Furlan got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Kiko Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geraldo do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Kiko Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baje EC's Délio Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Maria Hames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulysses Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kiko Cearense in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Maria Hames saved Baje EC from getting behind. Délio Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo do Vale having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Délio Souza got free with Geraldo do Vale in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raptors United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Baje EC for a fine match.
