Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Francisco das Neves kicked off to start the match. Guto Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Bezerra having to interfere. Roberto Dante hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Renato Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renato Monteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Renato Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PIVOTTO were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Red River's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benê Secco took the corner. The corner ended in Benê Secco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Red River's Carlos Augusto Bezerra did a great save. Carlos Augusto Bezerra was a little too slow when João Francisco das Neves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. Giovani Zonta hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Carlos Augusto Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Francisco das Neves's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Guto Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Augusto Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco das Neves in the 31st minute of play. When João Francisco das Neves came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the PIVOTTO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Francisco das Neves couldn't finish the play. PIVOTTO's João Francisco das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, PIVOTTO's Guto Corrêa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Augusto Bezerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Dadá Faustino hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Carlos Augusto Bezerra was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and João Francisco das Neves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. João Francisco das Neves really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Felipe de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

João Francisco das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Carlos Augusto Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Enio Cardozo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red River's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PIVOTTO the free kick. In the 56th minute, one of Red River:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Red River. Benê Secco shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, João Francisco das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. PIVOTTO's supporters rose to their feet, but João Francisco das Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Augusto Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Guto Corrêa made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Augusto Bezerra. Red River's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. João Francisco das Neves struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Carlos Augusto Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PIVOTTO. After having played for 70 minutes, Guto Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PIVOTTO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guto Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guto Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco das Neves in the 92nd minute of play forced Red River's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes of play, PIVOTTO's Guto Corrêa made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Augusto Bezerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! PIVOTTO's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
