Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cláudio Koehler made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Dinei Gomes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Anicuns's Rômulo Lima. Rômulo Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cláudio Koehler in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 11 played minutes, Laurenzs's Hortêncio Mesquita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rômulo Lima came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Laurenzs reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Dinei Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laurenzs's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinei Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rômulo Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elias Bueno made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Perivaldo Zanette sent off a good shot on target. Dinei Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Lima having to interfere. The supporters of Anicuns booed when Laurenzs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Alvarenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Laurenzs's zone, Perivaldo Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Bueno came out of the goal and Perivaldo Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th match minute, Laurenzs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Trigo to maneuver through the defense. When Anicuns's Cláudio Koehler in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laurenzs's goalie prevented a goal. In the 29th match minute, Anicuns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fábio Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Paulo de Amorim in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Anicuns's Cláudio Koehler got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Luís Paulo de Amorim made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinei Gomes got free with Rômulo Lima in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute of the match Nilmar Queirós shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Bueno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Nuno Alvarenga was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. The supporters of Anicuns booed when Laurenzs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Alvarenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Koehler in the 71st minute of play. Cláudio Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perivaldo Zanette might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Bueno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Perivaldo Zanette ran back to his position shaking his head. When Anicuns's Perivaldo Zanette in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laurenzs's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arlindo Baiano in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Bueno saved Laurenzs from getting behind. Elias Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Koehler in the 91st minute of play. If Dinei Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Bueno having to interfere. The Laurenzs players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
