Ulisses Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 minutes, Duarte Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mundurucus SS and the Unidos F C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Mundurucus SS got a freekick which was hit by Romário Porto. When Unidos F C's Caco de Almeida in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mundurucus SS's goalie prevented a goal. Romário Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Mundurucus SS's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luiz Mota came free, but Sérgio Mangueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Dino Mota almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mundurucus SS's Sérgio Mangueira did a great save.

Flavinho Meira hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Sílvio Luiz Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Unidos F C's Christiano Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens Hermes in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luiz Mota had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sérgio Mangueira. Mundurucus SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Luiz Mota was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sérgio Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco de Almeida in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Mundurucus SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário Porto to maneuver through the defense. Sérgio Mangueira acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Didi Varela. Sérgio Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco de Almeida in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Mundurucus SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário Porto to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th match minute, Unidos F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Velloso to maneuver through the defense. Christiano Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
