Pirapitingui SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Romeu Moraes scored to the left of an out of position Cristóvão Carioca, making the score, 1-1. In the 18th minute, Romeu Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Cristóvão Carioca. Pirapitingui SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The supporters of Tuive AD booed when Pirapitingui SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcinho Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Donato Moreira took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manoel Varela. Manoel Varela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 38th minute, Leonardo Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agnaldo do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cristóvão Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rafael Prestes made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tuive AD booed when Pirapitingui SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Tuive AD's Manoel Varela got control of the ball when Donato Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cássio Neto's late challenge caught a Tuive AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Neto helped the player get up and apologised. Cássio Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Pirapitingui SC's Rafael Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pirapitingui SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
