Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Eriberto Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itacurussa's protests and gave Eriberto Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Itacurussa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! Arlindo Borges shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Fructal's Hélder Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Cosme in the 20th minute of play. Ronaldo Tróia's late challenge caught a Fructal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldo Tróia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Itacurussa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Tróia to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Germano Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itacurussa's supporters rose to their feet, but Germano Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fructal's Hélder Hermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Fructal from getting a goal against them. Germano Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago de Queirós in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 44 minutes, Narciso Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itacurussa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aníbal Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Tiago de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Tiago de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Arnaldo Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomás Silveira's late challenge caught a Itacurussa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomás Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes Fructal got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Silveira. If Tiago de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diguinho de Queiroz got free with Arnaldo Pinho in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Germano Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Hermes having to interfere. Hélder Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Fabiano Dantas hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to Fructal getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Luiz Guilherme Recife hit a great ball. When Germano Cosme came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Itacurussa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Cosme couldn't finish the play. Arnaldo Pinho made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Diguinho de Queiroz sent off a good shot on target. The Fructal players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Itacurussa from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
