Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luizinho Nunes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Armando Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizinho Nunes in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Nildo Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, one of Urubici:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Urubici. The referee gave Rastafary F.C a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ulisses Novaes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Urubici's Armando Barbosa. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizinho Nunes in the 20th minute of play forced Urubici's goalkeeper Armando Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 played minutes Urubici got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Santos. In the 23rd minute, Kosmas Mytilineos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kosmas Mytilineos scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Barbosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eduardo Manny's late challenge caught a Urubici's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Manny helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Rastafary F.C. Ulisses Novaes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armando Barbosa. 0-3. The supporters of Rastafary F.C booed when Urubici was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kosmas Mytilineos in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armando Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizinho Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Luizinho Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Luiz Santos made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Santos struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Tibúrcio Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urubici. Patrick de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Brito in the 66th minute of play forced Rastafary F.C's goalkeeper Tibúrcio Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Luiz Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tibúrcio Meireles was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Rastafary F.C's Marcinho Bezerra was substituted for Cássio Corrêa. After a rather tough play, Urubici's Elder Dionísio got a free kick in the 75th minute. Elder Dionísio hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Luizinho Nunes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armando Barbosa. That made the score 1-4 in the 80 minute of play. In the 85th minute, Kosmas Mytilineos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Luizinho Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Barbosa was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When the match was over Rastafary F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Urubici throughout the match.
