Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Apuires SC's Silvinho Recife sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Ferraz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Apuires SC's goalkeeper Kjell Mårtensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aílton Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rony Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Kjell Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85thth minute of the game Silvinho Recife who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Komatsu's Juan Ferraz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Rodrigo Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Komatsu's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell Mårtensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjell Mårtensson was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
