Dalmo de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego de Andrade having to interfere. Dalmo de Andrade struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Diego de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AIK Scotland United. In the 27th minute, Reynaldo Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 28 minutes, Dalmo de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK Scotland United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmo de Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in AIK Scotland United's zone, Reynaldo Bertassi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Aguiar came out of the goal and Reynaldo Bertassi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 minutes, Mário Félix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Convento and the AIK Scotland United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Convento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Félix to maneuver through the defense. Diego de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Azevedo in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Leonel Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Diego de Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Dante in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonel Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego de Andrade having to interfere. Convento's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Leonel Azevedo scored to the left of an out of position Diego de Andrade, making the score, 0-4. The supporters of Convento booed when AIK Scotland United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doni da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Leonel Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. AIK Scotland United's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, AIK Scotland United's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Dante came free, but Jonathan Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game Caetano Dante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AIK Scotland United's Jonathan Aguiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Dante in the 68th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willian Fantini during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Azevedo in the 73rd minute of play forced Convento's goalkeeper Diego de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo de Andrade in the 76th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Convento's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmo de Andrade came free, but Diego de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Convento's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leonel Azevedo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alexandre de Barros hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Leonel Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Convento fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AIK Scotland United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
