Dragões da Real's Ronaldo Fenomeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Fransson in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Dragões da Real's goal looked a bit too open when Anthon Fransson came free, but Ronaldo Fenomeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 6-2 when Vítor Lago sped through Ilha Tropical FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tião Jacinto. Ronaldo Fenomeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Vergílio in the 84th minute of play. Ian Martins struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ronaldo Fenomeno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilha Tropical FC. In the 89th minute Sandro Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Fenomeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Ian Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilha Tropical FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Dragões da Real booed when Ilha Tropical FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthon Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes Ilha Tropical FC got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Quirino. Ilha Tropical FC's Ian Martins got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Ian Martins off the ground. In the 96th match minute, Ilha Tropical FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Martins to maneuver through the defense. Nilson Meireles charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nilson Meireles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ilha Tropical FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
