Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudinei Araújo started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Estreito FC's Armando Mendes got control of the ball when Claudinei Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Estreito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomás Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Bruninho Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Vieira having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jucara SS's zone, Thomás Gerber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualter Vieira came out of the goal and Thomás Gerber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Estreito FC's Thomás Gerber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualter Vieira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Gugu Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Claudinei Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Jucara SS's Armando Mendes threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudinei Araújo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gualter Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruninho Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 32 minutes, Claudinei Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jucara SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinei Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dário Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomás Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Vieira having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Claudinei Araújo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Mendes. Estreito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinei Araújo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Jucara SS's Arnaldo da Fonseca got a free kick in the 44th minute. When Estreito FC's Thomás Gerber in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jucara SS's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute, Thomás Gerber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 57 minutes, Dário Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jucara SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dário Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th match minute, Estreito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Brito to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Estreito FC's zone, Claudinei Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Mendes came out of the goal and Claudinei Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomás Gerber had several of the Jucara SS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Gualter Vieira as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 74th match minute, Jucara SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Furtado to maneuver through the defense. Thomás Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Vieira having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Bruninho Saldanha got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 85 played minutes Estreito FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Brito. Ezequiel Gomes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Gualter Vieira made a huge save. Bruninho Saldanha was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Estreito FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 96th minute, Claudinei Araújo made a precise shot to the right of Armando Mendes. Estreito FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
