Szczepan Banach started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in AC Itaborai Uniter's zone, Donatello Arantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antônio Carlos Damião came out of the goal and Donatello Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 8 played minutes Rebojinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Mattos. After 8 played minutes, AC Itaborai Uniter's Humberto Netto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dorian Santana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Itaborai Uniter reached it. In the 15th minute, Szczepan Banach made a precise shot to the right of Dorian Santana. Rebojinho FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. AC Itaborai Uniter's Ulisses Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorian Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Ascencio Jamilio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rebojinho FC's Dorian Santana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dorian Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szczepan Banach, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, Szczepan Banach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 minutes, Felipe Mattos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rebojinho FC and the AC Itaborai Uniter players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AC Itaborai Uniter booed when Rebojinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Aírton Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, AC Itaborai Uniter's Antônio Carlos Damião got control of the ball when Zacarias Vidal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute Adalmo Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorian Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half AC Itaborai Uniter were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st match minute, Rebojinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Carlos Varela to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Ulisses Prestes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Donatello Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Rebojinho FC's Dorian Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Prestes in the 59th minute of play. Dorian Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ascencio Jamilio in the 61st minute of play. Fiori Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Szczepan Banach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulisses Prestes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorian Santana having to make a save. Ulisses Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Santana having to interfere. Rebojinho FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ulisses Prestes 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. The Rebojinho FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AC Itaborai Uniter were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
