When Júnior Bertassi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 43 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Décio Macedo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, ABSURDO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Bertassi came free, but Décio Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olívio Madureira hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Gilvan Paraíba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mangarai EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilvan Paraíba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The wind increased when Gilvan Paraíba made the kick off in the second half. Décio Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilvan Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55th play minutes Gilvan Paraíba shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Décio Macedo and just under the crossbar into goal. Júnior Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Décio Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Júnior Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júnior Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otávio Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Marcus Ceresso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matías Castro was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Décio Macedo came out of the goal and Júnior Bertassi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Gilvan Paraíba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mangarai EC's Rodrigo Romero shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 88th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Décio Macedo but with some difficulty. Gilvan Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ABSURDO FC's Décio Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save ABSURDO FC from getting a goal against them. After 98 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mangarai EC! The referee gave ABSURDO FC a penalty, 100 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cafu Mineiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mangarai EC's Matías Castro. 2-2.
