Rui Bloem's Renatinho Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Sena in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Lamarao's Luiz Guilherme Tande got control of the ball when Giuseppe de Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Simão Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Renatinho Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lamarao booed when S.E. Rui Bloem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juvenal Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, S.E. Rui Bloem's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Sena came free, but Renatinho Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Guilherme Tande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giuseppe de Medeiros went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Fabrício Vaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Lamarao's Oscar Alagoano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renatinho Figueiredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Samuel Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Alagoano was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Lamarao's Murillo Quirino seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Murillo Quirino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lamarao protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Murillo Quirino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Lamarao getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Murillo Quirino hit a great ball. Giuseppe de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Luiz Guilherme Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, S.E. Rui Bloem's Juvenal Domingues got a free kick in the 57th minute. Juvenal Domingues hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Fabrício Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simão Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Renatinho Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrício Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme Tande having to interfere. Fabrício Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, S.E. Rui Bloem's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Simão Sena fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Simão Sena's late challenge caught a S.E. Rui Bloem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão Sena helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Lamarao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Sena to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. S.E. Rui Bloem had played much better football throughout.
