Paulo Hermes hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Rajnish Bagha took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aníbal Toscano. Aníbal Toscano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Carlos Eduardo Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carlos Eduardo Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernt Frykberg took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aníbal Toscano. Aníbal Toscano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Rajnish Bagha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 played minutes Beleza got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Rosado. The audience held their breath when João Adolfo Terra in the 39th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Aníbal Toscano's left hand side. Aníbal Toscano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernt Frykberg went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rajnish Bagha made the kick off in the second half. Beleza's Aníbal Toscano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Beleza from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Aníbal Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernt Frykberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Hermes in the 73rd minute of play forced Pinga Pura F.C.'s goalkeeper Vitinho Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Adolfo Terra might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aníbal Toscano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Adolfo Terra ran back to his position shaking his head. Aníbal Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rajnish Bagha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rajnish Bagha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 minutes, João Carlos Koehler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beleza and the Pinga Pura F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Beleza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Rosado to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Beleza's zone, Rajnish Bagha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aníbal Toscano came out of the goal and Rajnish Bagha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 played minutes Beleza got a freekick which was hit by Zé Cardozo. Ricardinho Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Pinga Pura F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
