Jardineiro SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Valdo Mesquita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Vergílio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Delvino AD's Maurício Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Soeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Dudu de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Godoi in the 41st minute of play forced Jardineiro SS's goalkeeper Erasmo Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurício Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu de Lima in the 45th minute of play forced Jardineiro SS's goalkeeper Erasmo Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurício Godoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Valdo Mesquita came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Jardineiro SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdo Mesquita couldn't finish the play. Jardineiro SS's players were relieved. 61 minutes into the match, João Vítor Martins notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Delvino AD's Allan Vergílio. Allan Vergílio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dudu de Lima took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Soeiro. The supporters of Jardineiro SS booed when Delvino AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurício Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Soeiro having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Dudu de Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Erasmo Soeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Velasco in the 92nd minute of play forced Delvino AD's goalkeeper Allan Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Maurício Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delvino AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurício Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Jardineiro SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Delvino AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
