The Samauma players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lama EC were winning 0-1.

Lúcio Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samauma's Ramón Baiano got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Adrianinho Mumbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Samauma's Caetano Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Öfverman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramón Baiano struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Felix Öfverman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samauma. Luisinho Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Luisinho Silveira hit a great ball. Wilian Marques's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Joélson França skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 79 minutes, Marco Bezerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samauma and the Lama EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marco Bezerra hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Samauma's Joélson França got control of the ball when Wilian Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Lama EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Samauma.
