Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Róbson Barros started the match with the kick off. Falido's Aníbal Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Koehler in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Sun Red FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Fabrício Carvalho hit a great ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Róbson Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falido's supporters crossed their fingers, but Róbson Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Róbson Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Ramiro Pinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falido's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sun Red FC the free kick. A collision led to Falido getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ramiro Pinho hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Barreto in the 17th minute of play forced Sun Red FC's goalkeeper Noel Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Róbson Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noel Prata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Róbson Barros's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Sílvio Luís Toscano struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Noel Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falido. Róbson Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Noel Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Róbson Barros in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noel Prata saved Sun Red FC from getting behind. Noel Prata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sílvio Luís Toscano in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Falido's Róbson Barros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Mazinho Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Nogueira having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Róbson Barros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Noel Prata. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. In the 38th minute, Leonardo de Mendonça had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 38 minutes, Erivaldo Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falido and the Sun Red FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Falido's Erivaldo Vale got a free kick in the 39th minute. Róbson Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Prata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Róbson Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. Róbson Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute Róbson Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Sun Red FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luís Toscano came free, but Noel Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 played minutes Sun Red FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Koehler. Falido's Róbson Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabrício Carvalho hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Joel de Andrade sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noel Prata skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Sun Red FC's Joaquim Koehler got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Sílvio Luís Toscano struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Noel Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falido. Noel Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute of the match Joel de Andrade shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noel Prata showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Róbson Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noel Prata was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 94th minute, Sílvio Luís Toscano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Falido players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
