When Manoel Sanches came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Porteirinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manoel Sanches couldn't finish the play. After 64 played minutes Australopitecos got a freekick which was hit by Luizinho Sanches. Luís Guilherme Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Manoel Sanches got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 played minutes Porteirinhas got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Fontes. Juvenal Dantas made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Wiliam Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. Dorival Melo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Porteirinhas were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
