Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabrício Faria started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrício Faria during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Paco booed when Serrota was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrício Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Kauan Sarmento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Serrota's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paco the free kick. Iuri Pontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabrício Faria's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. A collision led to Serrota getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dida da Fonseca hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Serrota's goal looked a bit too open when Cléberson Nogueira came free, but Claudinho Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Pedro Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Serrota's Claudinho Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Pedro Neves made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Dida da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serrota's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dida da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Neves in the 56th minute of play forced Serrota's goalkeeper Claudinho Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrício Faria in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iuri Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Dida da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serrota's supporters rose to their feet, but Dida da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iuri Pontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dida da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fabrício Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 67 played minutes, Serrota's Remo Teles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iuri Pontes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Serrota reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dida da Fonseca in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iuri Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Serrota's Claudinho Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Serrota from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the match, Paco's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrício Faria came free, but Iuri Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paco's Iuri Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Faria in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Cléberson Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iuri Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Faria in the 92nd minute of play. Paco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
