Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wágner Arósio got the match started through his kick off. Claudinho Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Goiano having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Alberto Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fidelo EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute Wágner Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genílson Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Tasso in the 15th minute of the match. When Claudinho Lucas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 22 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sílvio Goiano was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Claudinho Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sílvio Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wágner Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute of the match, Claudinho Lucas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sílvio Goiano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Claudinho Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Sílvio Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidelo EC's Claudinho Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Noel Machado hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Alberto Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fidelo EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Noel Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Igatiquira AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fidelo EC the free kick. After 48 played minutes Igatiquira AD got a freekick which was hit by Noel Machado. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinho Lucas made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Claudinho Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fidelo EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Goiano having to interfere. Enéas Rosado hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinho Lucas in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71stth minute of the game Alberto Nunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Igatiquira AD's Sílvio Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enéas Rosado hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Claudinho Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 played minutes Igatiquira AD got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Dias. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Nunes in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal.
