Tijuco's Andrézinho Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Diniz in the 33rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After 76 minutes, Lucas Diniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borussia Indaiá and the Tijuco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andrézinho Recife made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Carlos Damião sent off a good shot on target.
