The supporters of Acaa booed when Borussia Indaiá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vágner das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raphael Guerra was a little too slow when Felippe Freire got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Indaiá's zone, Leopoldo Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Guerra came out of the goal and Leopoldo Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Borussia Indaiá's Raphael Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Freire in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Leopoldo Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acaa's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Guerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Claudinho Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raphael Guerra came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Acaa's Leopoldo Batista. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Claudinho Coelho stood somewhat misplaced when Lucas Diniz came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 61 minute. Borussia Indaiá's Raphael Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Freire in the 64th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Borussia Indaiá got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Paranaense. Raphael Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Freire in the 72nd minute of play. If Leopoldo Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Paranaense hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Lucas Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moisés Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
