After 3rd play minutes Jano Cosme shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Alfredo Penha and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Cosme in the 6th minute of play forced Pompeo EC's goalkeeper Alfredo Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Álvaro Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgard de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Vladimir Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Levergeria's Dário Gomes got a free kick in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Haroldo Salles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alfredo Penha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Pompeo EC's Lino de Alcântara got a free kick in the 26th minute. Nilmar Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Haroldo Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Pompeo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jano Cosme came free, but Alfredo Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Salles in the 38th minute of play forced Pompeo EC's goalkeeper Alfredo Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes, Jano Cosme made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Pompeo EC's Alfredo Penha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Álvaro Matorin to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Penha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jano Cosme showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 51 minute of play. In the 58th minute Jano Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Haroldo Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Levergeria's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute, Edgard de Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimir Zanette was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After 77 minutes of play, Pompeo EC's Álvaro Matorin made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimir Zanette was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th match minute, Levergeria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Simão to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Penha having to interfere. In the 89th minute, José Vítor Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Haroldo Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Levergeria's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 91st match minute, Pompeo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Levergeria walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
