Collina EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Afonso Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Jacinto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Dito Arce might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ezequiel Brasil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dito Arce ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcinho Negri in the 23rd minute of play forced Collina EC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Jacinto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Henrique Lira. Ronaldão Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Collina EC defense, Dito Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ezequiel Brasil. The Collina EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezequiel Brasil should have stopped the shot. Fausto Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dito Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ezequiel Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezequiel Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dito Arce in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute Dito Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dito Arce was the one to do the kick off. When Dito Arce came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the SeleSantos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dito Arce couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Júlio Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ronaldão Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Jacinto having to interfere. Luan Arruda's late challenge caught a Collina EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luan Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes SeleSantos got a freekick which was hit by Luan Arruda. A collision led to SeleSantos getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Vito Koehler hit a great ball. If Marcinho Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Collina EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dito Arce 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Jardel Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SeleSantos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
