Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Cláudio Tadeu FC's Hélder Leão got a free kick in the 5th minute. Wesley Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gláuber de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raí Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermínio Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís de Toledo having to interfere. Hélder Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match Silvinho Queiroz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís de Toledo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Raí Freitas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cláudio Tadeu FC's Luís de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Loyola in the 25th minute of play. Luís de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Amílton Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermínio Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Luís de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cesinha Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesinha Freitas during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Altinho booed when Cláudio Tadeu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 minutes Cláudio Tadeu FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvinho Queiroz who took care of the corner kick. Cesinha Aparecido scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís de Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Hermínio Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Raí Freitas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wesley Arantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Altinho's Hermínio Loyola got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesinha Aparecido in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís de Toledo saved Cláudio Tadeu FC from getting behind. After having played for 80 minutes, Hermínio Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermínio Loyola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís de Toledo made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Hermínio Loyola sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Hermínio Loyola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesinha Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesinha Aparecido showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3.
