Spectators: 6649 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Natã Medeiros got the match started through his kick off. Cléber Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Pedro Fantini charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Pedro Fantini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joinville Esporte Clube's Leopoldo Valle was substituted for Severino Santos. In the 10th match minute, Jaciparana SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pedro Fantini to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Tavares in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Teles saved Jaciparana SS from getting behind. Manuel Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber Peixoto in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Leopoldo Valle made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Teles. Jaciparana SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Leandro Cunha hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Betinho Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Medeiros in the 24th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 26th minute when Natã Medeiros elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Manuel Teles came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville Esporte Clube's Roger Tavares. But to his dismay, Roger Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Roger Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário Ramalho in the 38th minute of play. When Joinville Esporte Clube's Cléber Peixoto in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaciparana SS's goalie prevented a goal. Manuel Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roger Tavares to strike the kick off in the second half. If Cléber Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Valle in the 60th minute of play forced Jaciparana SS's goalkeeper Manuel Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cléber Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Manuel Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Tavares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Teles came out and tried to block the shot, but Roger Tavares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 65th minute. In the 68th match minute, Joinville Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Carlos Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Roger Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joinville Esporte Clube's Roger Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cléber Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cléber Peixoto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Manuel Teles made a huge save. Manuel Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Tavares in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Tostão Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joinville Esporte Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
