The referee showed Sílvio Luiz Toscano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ignorados FC's Sílvio Luiz Toscano got a free kick in the 10th minute. Cesinha Paiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horácio Martins in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Sílvio Luiz Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Adrianinho Pimenta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erivaldo da Silva. Boreby FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrianinho Pimenta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Adrianinho Pimenta took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erivaldo da Silva. Erivaldo da Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 31 minutes, Raimundo Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boreby FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Breno Cardozo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ignorados FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Erivaldo da Silva came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Ignorados FC's Adrianinho Pimenta. But to his dismay, Adrianinho Pimenta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Raphael Bastos hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Oswaldo Pinho fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boreby FC's protests and gave Oswaldo Pinho a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Boreby FC got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Pinho. After the first half Ignorados FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrianinho Pimenta made a kick off. Adrianinho Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Erivaldo da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Erivaldo da Silva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Luís Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Róbson de Toledo, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Horácio Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boreby FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horácio Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesinha Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Horácio Martins put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Cesinha Paiva. If Adrianinho Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 69 minutes, Adrianinho Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ignorados FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrianinho Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Adrianinho Pimenta took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Erivaldo da Silva to make any attempt to save it. Sílvio Luiz Toscano hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Cesinha Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Martins in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Ignorados FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Boreby FC.
