Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrianinho Pimenta in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Berger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrianinho Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Chico Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Breno Cardozo sped through S C Corinthians's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chico Berger. 20 minutes into the match, Ignorados FC's Adrianinho Pimenta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chico Berger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th match minute, S C Corinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Chico Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Cardozo in the 22nd minute of the match. 0-3 became the score in the 23rd minute when Adrianinho Pimenta elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Adrianinho Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sidney Medeiros during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sidney Medeiros hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind S C Corinthians's goalkeeper Chico Berger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute Breno Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chico Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Cardozo in the 40th minute of the match. Sílvio Luiz Toscano hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrianinho Pimenta in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chico Berger saved S C Corinthians from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 51st match minute, Ignorados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Cássio Montenegro, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ignorados FC's Breno Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesinha Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Montenegro missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 73 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Cesinha Paiva right hand side. Cesinha Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Adrianinho Pimenta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Adrianinho Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Danilo Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Cesinha Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Percival Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the S C Corinthians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Percival Guerra couldn't finish the play. If Percival Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ignorados FC's zone, Percival Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesinha Paiva came out of the goal and Percival Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
