Haroldo Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Elano Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Haroldo Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franklin Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elano Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Víktor da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Serginho Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Doidera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Cavalcante came free, but Serginho Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Tabajara FC defense, Germano Reis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elano Félix. The Tabajara FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elano Félix should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Haroldo Dracena had several of the Tabajara FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Elano Félix as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Doidera FC's zone, Víktor da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serginho Pontes came out of the goal and Víktor da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franklin Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Elano Félix made a huge save. Tabajara FC's Elano Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Dracena in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Doidera FC's goalkeeper Serginho Pontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enéas Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano Félix having to interfere. Elano Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Dracena in the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Luís Fábio Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tabajara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fábio Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franklin Viana got free with Elano Félix in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes into the game, Haroldo Dracena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elano Félix. Haroldo Dracena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. The Doidera FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Doidera FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
