Osmar Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Régis Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osmar Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Fabiano Lima hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Régis Meireles got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Régis Meireless short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Ronaldo Capixaba to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Régis Meireles got free with Ronaldo Capixaba in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Bode players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cajobi SC were winning 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Cajobi SC's zone, Régis Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo Capixaba came out of the goal and Régis Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronaldo Capixaba came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Bode's Fábio da Cunha. But to his dismay, Fábio da Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 65th minute, Régis Meireles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldo Capixaba was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 68th minute, Walmir Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Laércio Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, Luís Fabiano Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cajobi SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bode the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Matos in the 79th minute of play forced Bode's goalkeeper Osmar Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldo Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Régis Meireles struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Ronaldo Capixaba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. In the 87th match minute, Cajobi SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. When Fábio da Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Bode fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio da Cunha couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Laércio Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Régis Meireles struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute.
