Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Luiz Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho Koehler in the 4th minute of the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game Nelsinho Koehler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Empatacao's Luiz Dantas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aleandro da Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Arthur Mendes sent off a good shot on target. Luiz Dantas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelsinho Koehler's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. When Só Canelas F.C.'s Nelsinho Koehler in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Empatacao's goalie prevented a goal. Andrézinho da Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrézinho da Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Só Canelas F.C.'s Elano Quintal got a free kick in the 45th minute. José Carlos Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Aleandro da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nelsinho Koehler to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Nelsinho Koehler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Dantas was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Nelsinho Koehler might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nelsinho Koehler ran back to his position shaking his head. Erivaldo Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Dantas having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Ivo Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Elder Santos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Luiz Dantas came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Só Canelas F.C.'s Elder Santos. But to his dismay, Elder Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 66 played minutes Empatacao got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Mendes. Luiz Dantas stood somewhat misplaced when Nelsinho Koehler came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 67 minute. Aleandro da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chicão Queirós in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Nelsinho Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Empatacao's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Koehler came free, but Luiz Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Dantas was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Erivaldo Melo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erivaldo Melo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 86th minute, Nelsinho Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Só Canelas F.C. played a much better game than Empatacao and deserved their victory. The Empatacao players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
