Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pedrão Batista started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Quatiguaua's zone, Alfredinho de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Magalhães came out of the goal and Alfredinho de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredinho de Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Magalhães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredinho de Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. When Cipriano Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Padre AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Cabral couldn't finish the play. After 19 minutes of play, Padre AD's Pedrão Batista made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leandro Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 22 minutes, Fábio Meirelles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quatiguaua and the Padre AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fábio Meirelles hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Proença in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wanderson Sá prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alfredinho de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd play minute Fábio Meirelles came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Wanderson Sá. 1-1. Padre AD's Wanderson Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Proença in the 39th minute of play. Padre AD's Pedrão Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedrão Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Proença to strike the kick off in the second half. Frank Valle struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Leandro Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Padre AD. A hard shot 55 in the game by Alfredinho de Sousa from a close distance when the talented Leandro Magalhães managed to make a qualified save. Quatiguaua's players were relieved. The supporters of Padre AD booed when Quatiguaua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pedrão Batista came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Padre AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrão Batista couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Quatiguaua's goalkeeper Leandro Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredinho de Sousa. When Padre AD's Pedrão Batista in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quatiguaua's goalie prevented a goal. If Alfredinho de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Batista in the 68th minute of play forced Quatiguaua's goalkeeper Leandro Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Quatiguaua's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Batista came free, but Leandro Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Padre AD booed when Quatiguaua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Magalhães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedrão Batista went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Geovânio Queiroz hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Padre AD's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Meirelles came free, but Wanderson Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Padre AD's Pedrão Batista in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quatiguaua's goalie prevented a goal. In the 83rd play minute Alfredinho de Sousa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leandro Magalhães. 2-3. Leandro Magalhães came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Padre AD's Alfredinho de Sousa. But to his dismay, Alfredinho de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 92 minutes into the game, Cipriano Cabral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Padre AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quatiguaua the free kick. Cipriano Cabral hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Quatiguaua's goalkeeper Leandro Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredinho de Sousa. When the match was over Padre AD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Quatiguaua throughout the match.
