Juninho Moreno came out of the goal and Kaká Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horácio Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Kaká Melo spun around in front of the goal 9 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Simeao's goal. After some careless play in the Persia Fc defense, Rafinha de Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquim Paulista. The Persia Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquim Paulista should have stopped the shot. Eliézer Couto's late challenge caught a Simeao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliézer Couto helped the player get up and apologised. Eliézer Couto hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Persia Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Fontes came free, but Joaquim Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardinho Nunes during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernardinho Nunes hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Joaquim Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Persia Fc's Joaquim Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha de Mendonça in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Pedrinho Teles could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Juninho Moreno however easily saved by the left post. Joaquim Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Persia Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Fontes came free, but Joaquim Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

In the 52nd minute Kaká Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juninho Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Persia Fc's Pedrinho Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simeao's Juninho Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Teles in the 57th minute of play. Luiz Guilherme Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Rafinha de Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Simeao's goalkeeper Juninho Moreno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luiz Guilherme Fontes struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Joaquim Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simeao. The crowd rose to their feet as Simeao's Rafinha de Mendonça slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquim Paulista. That made the score 0-2 after 71 minutes of play. 78 minutes into the match, Persia Fc's goalkeeper Joaquim Paulista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Guilherme Fontes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Melo in the 80th minute of play forced Simeao's goalkeeper Juninho Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Luiz Guilherme Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simeao's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Guilherme Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Kaká Melo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juninho Moreno was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedrinho Teles in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juninho Moreno saved Simeao from getting behind. After 95 minutes of play, Persia Fc's Pedrinho Teles made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juninho Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simeao's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
