Joaquim Paulista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to !Wolverines E. C. 4EVER getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Vágner Simões hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Melo in the 12th minute of play forced !Wolverines E. C. 4EVER's goalkeeper Jefferson Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Souto might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquim Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rui Souto ran back to his position shaking his head. Kaká Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Martins having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kaká Melo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jefferson Martins was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After 20 played minutes !Wolverines E. C. 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Cido Dionísio. When Pedrinho Teles fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Persia Fc's protests and gave Pedrinho Teles a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Persia Fc got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Teles. Kaká Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Martins having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, !Wolverines E. C. 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Meira to maneuver through the defense. Jefferson Martins acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tostão Cruz. After a defensive mix-up in !Wolverines E. C. 4EVER's zone, Pedrinho Teles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jefferson Martins came out of the goal and Pedrinho Teles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaká Melo in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jefferson Martins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kaká Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jefferson Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Kaká Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes !Wolverines E. C. 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Cido Dionísio. In the 45th minute, Cido Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kaká Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Leonel Meira charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Meira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Leonel Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Eliézer Couto in the 54th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jefferson Martins's left hand side. Pedrinho Teles struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jefferson Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Persia Fc. The supporters of !Wolverines E. C. 4EVER booed when Persia Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliézer Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Souto might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquim Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rui Souto ran back to his position shaking his head. Dedé Novaes in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquim Paulista, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ademir Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Persia Fc's Ademir Jacinto got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Frédson Saldanha was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jefferson Martins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaká Melo's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. When Leonel Meira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, !Wolverines E. C. 4EVER's Leonel Meira got a free kick in the 79th minute. Pedrinho Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jefferson Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kaká Melo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jefferson Martins was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Dedé Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. !Wolverines E. C. 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedé Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the game, Kaká Melo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jefferson Martins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Persia Fc were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing !Wolverines E. C. 4EVER to leave the ground with a draw.
