An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvaldo da Fonseca in the 22nd minute of play forced 30 de Fevereiro's goalkeeper Hugo Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celsinho Leão did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Hugo Britto 35 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Celsinho Leão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hugo Britto, 3-1. Celsinho Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hugo Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celsinho Leão to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celsinho Leão in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Britto saved 30 de Fevereiro from getting behind. Edvaldo da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guadalupe.C.C's Edvaldo da Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Celsinho Leão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guadalupe.C.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When Edvaldo da Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Guadalupe.C.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvaldo da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. After 72 minutes, Celsinho Leão made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. 30 de Fevereiro's Hugo Britto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvaldo da Fonseca in the 75th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Guadalupe.C.C's Edvaldo da Fonseca made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Britto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in 30 de Fevereiro's zone, Celsinho Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Britto came out of the goal and Celsinho Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Mangueira in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, Guadalupe.C.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celsinho Leão went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Guadalupe.C.C's Isaltino Queirós got a free kick in the 89th minute. Josué Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Fernandez having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Guadalupe.C.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Josué Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Fernandez having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Guadalupe.C.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
