After 2 played minutes Queimadinhas got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Seco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio de Barros in the 3rd minute of play forced Queimadinhas's goalkeeper Hélder Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute Luiz Fabiano Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sílvio de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Aiuaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio de Barros couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Lira in the 7th minute of play forced Queimadinhas's goalkeeper Hélder Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Queimadinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Lira came free, but Hélder Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Queimadinhas's Hélder Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Lira in the 12th minute of play. Hélder Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Luiz Fabiano Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Fabiano Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aníbal Paranaense hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Koehler notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Aiuaba's Carlos Eduardo Paraense. Carlos Eduardo Paraense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hélder Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Lira in the 29th minute of the match. Vicente Veiga hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Wesley Palmeira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hélder Guerra skillfully saved the ball. Gonçalo Barreto struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Carlos Eduardo Paraense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queimadinhas. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aiuaba's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Paraense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Queimadinhas's zone, Luiz Fabiano Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Guerra came out of the goal and Luiz Fabiano Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Gonçalo Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio de Barros in the 43rd minute of play forced Queimadinhas's goalkeeper Hélder Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Queimadinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio de Barros came free, but Hélder Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Aiuaba's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Paraense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giuseppe Koehler. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonçalo Barreto to make the kick off. Vicente Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Sílvio de Barros's late challenge caught a Queimadinhas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio de Barros helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Aiuaba getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Sílvio de Barros hit a great ball. Hélder Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio de Barros in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Lira in the 61st minute of play forced Queimadinhas's goalkeeper Hélder Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Queimadinhas booed when Aiuaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Eduardo Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Guerra came out of the goal and Luiz Fabiano Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Aiuaba getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ciro Maciel hit a great ball. Aiuaba were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
