Spectators: 6390 (Terracing: 5390, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kléberson Toscano made the kick off and thus started the match. Agostinho Falcão came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Carapana EC's Cido Neiva. But to his dismay, Cido Neiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Paranapolis's Wilson de Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inácio Proença narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Paranapolis's goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson Toscano came free, but Agostinho Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Cido Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carapana EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cido Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carapana EC's Kléberson Toscano got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Cido Neiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agostinho Falcão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Armando de Amorim hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paranapolis's goalkeeper Agostinho Falcão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Paranapolis getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Armando de Amorim hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Kléberson Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kléberson Toscano in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agostinho Falcão saved Paranapolis from getting behind. In the 38th minute Cido Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agostinho Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléberson Toscano in the 39th minute of play. If Cido Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agostinho Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléberson Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Agostinho Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson Toscano in the 48th minute of the match. The Paranapolis players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carapana EC were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Célio Massa to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Cipriano Batista could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Agostinho Falcão however easily saved by the left post. Agostinho Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléberson Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 67 minutes, Célio Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paranapolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Célio Massa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cipriano Batista hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Cido Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Armando de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Kléberson Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agostinho Falcão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cido Neiva in the 77th minute. Carapana EC's Cido Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cido Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Agostinho Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kléberson Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cido Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Agostinho Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Carapana EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Paranapolis throughout the match.
