The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13thth minute of the game Juninho Gaúcho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mostardos's Franklin Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enéas Veloso charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enéas Veloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Almir de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Mostardos's goal looked a bit too open when Juninho Gaúcho came free, but Franklin Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franklin Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Adriano Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Andromeda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Barreto couldn't finish the play. If Juninho Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juninho Gaúcho to strike the kick off in the second half. Andromeda FC's Adriano Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mostardos's Franklin Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Gaúcho in the 56th minute of play. Adriano Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Andromeda FC's Juninho Gaúcho in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lúcio França who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Almir de Lara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Franklin Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juninho Gaúcho went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 76 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Andromeda FC's Juninho Gaúcho fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Dagoberto Lago's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Almir de Lara firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mostardos's Franklin Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Gaúcho in the 80th minute of play. When Andromeda FC's Juninho Gaúcho in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
