The Ponciano SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Donato Marinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samuca Dias. Mocidade Alegre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ponciano SS made a substitution. Erik Albuquerque replaced Gildo Gaspar. Ponciano SS's Artemio Cordeara was substituted for Korneliusz Budacz. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chiquinho Romero made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Mocidade Alegre's zone, Erik Albuquerque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuca Dias came out of the goal and Erik Albuquerque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilvan Cosme hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho Romero in the 60th minute of play forced Mocidade Alegre's goalkeeper Samuca Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Marinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samuca Dias. Mocidade Alegre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mocidade Alegre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Samuca Dias didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ponciano SS's Erik Albuquerque shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Samuca Dias came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Ponciano SS's Chiquinho Romero. But to his dismay, Chiquinho Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. When Ponciano SS's Chiquinho Romero in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mocidade Alegre's goalie prevented a goal. Samuca Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquinho Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mocidade Alegre's Samuca Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquinho Romero in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ponciano SS fully deserved thier win.
