Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) C.R Flamengo's Sérgio Penha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Bonsecesso's Horácio Prata got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th match minute, Bonsecesso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Eliézer Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Sérgio Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adhemar Guedes came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silvinho Paulista could save by the left post. Silvinho Paulista came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Bonsecesso's Tibúrcio Dante. But to his dismay, Tibúrcio Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute Sérgio Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Silvinho Paulista successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bonsecesso's Artur Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Penha in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton Valadares in the 28th minute of play forced Bonsecesso's goalkeeper Artur Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.R Flamengo were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Bonsecesso's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sílvio Luís Reis took the corner. The corner ended in Sílvio Luís Reis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bonsecesso's Artur Lopes did a great save. C.R Flamengo's Silvinho Paulista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save C.R Flamengo from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, C.R Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Tinoco came free, but Silvinho Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adhemar Guedes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Silvinho Paulista made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adhemar Guedes got free with Silvinho Paulista in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvinho Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibúrcio Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Eliézer Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.R Flamengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliézer Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.R Flamengo's Silvinho Paulista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save C.R Flamengo from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tibúrcio Dante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. C.R Flamengo's Silvinho Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibúrcio Dante in the 52nd minute of play. Silvinho Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. C.R Flamengo's Silvinho Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Guedes in the 61st minute of play. Silvinho Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Horácio Prata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bonsecesso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.R Flamengo the free kick. Horácio Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Silvinho Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Tinoco in the 66th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Aírton Valadares put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Artur Lopes. After 73 played minutes, C.R Flamengo's Tarcisio Dantas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Artur Lopes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.R Flamengo reached it. When Sérgio Penha came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the C.R Flamengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Penha couldn't finish the play. Dedé Vale struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Artur Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.R Flamengo. With 79 minutes on the clock, Felipe Tepedino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 83rd minute Sérgio Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bonsecesso fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Bonsecesso's Adhemar Guedes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sérgio Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bonsecesso's Artur Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Penha in the 91st minute of play. C.R Flamengo's Aírton Valadares got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Adhemar Guedes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvinho Paulista was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
