Edmílson Trigo struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Erasmo Valladares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jatimana EC. The supporters of KaMiKaZe FC booed when Jatimana EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Vinícius Gonçalves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jatimana EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KaMiKaZe FC the free kick. Juarês Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Santana in the 25th minute of play. Edmílson Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Jatimana EC's zone, Sílvio Luís Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juarês Porto came out of the goal and Sílvio Luís Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarbas Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jatimana EC's zone, Sílvio Luís Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juarês Porto came out of the goal and Sílvio Luís Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Jatimana EC's Juarês Porto got control of the ball when Samuel Pombal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juarês Porto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Samuel Pombal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Samuel Pombal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Juarês Porto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Sílvio Luís Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Pombal in the 68th minute of play forced Jatimana EC's goalkeeper Juarês Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juarês Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Pombal in the 70th minute of the match. Jatimana EC's Juarês Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Pernambucano in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jatimana EC's goalkeeper Juarês Porto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juarês Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Pombal's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Samuel Pombal made a precise shot to the right of Juarês Porto. Jatimana EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 91st match minute, Jatimana EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Juarês Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Santana in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KaMiKaZe FC had played much better football throughout.
