With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felippe Urbano in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldo Salgado saved Legado Futebol Clube from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, Legado Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Urbano came free, but Ronaldo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Thiago de Toledo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Moleque EC's Vladimir Lago didn't even have to move. With his leg Vladimir Lago managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Legado Futebol Clube's Gilvan Vaz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Moleque EC's Doriva Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Júlio de Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júlio de Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Emerson Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes, Moleque EC's Agostinho Proença shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronaldo Salgado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Moleque EC reached it. Gilvan Vaz took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimir Lago. Vladimir Lago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Vladimir Lago made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Gilvan Vaz sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doriva Eger to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Felippe Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moleque EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felippe Urbano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Legado Futebol Clube's Ronaldo Salgado got control of the ball when Felippe Urbano tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Felippe Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Pedro Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Lago having to interfere.
