Fortes & Livres's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 18th minute, Telmo Faustino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Di Felice struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Carlos Eduardo Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MUVUCA. Gil Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, MUVUCA's goalkeeper Frank Mattos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tostão Donato. 34 minutes into the game, MUVUCA's Diego Di Felice nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Eduardo Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Gil Saldanha fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MUVUCA's protests and gave Gil Saldanha a yellow card for diving instead. Gil Saldanha hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 39 minutes in the game, Fernandinho Nóbrega fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Frank Mattos having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Fernandinho Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortes & Livres's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernandinho Nóbrega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Di Felice got free with Carlos Eduardo Reis in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MUVUCA's Frank Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Donato in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Di Felice in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Eduardo Reis saved Fortes & Livres from getting behind. A collision led to Fortes & Livres getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Fernandinho Nóbrega hit a great ball. MUVUCA's attentive Rafael Stanislao managed to snatch the ball when Valdomiro Rosado made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, MUVUCA's Rafael Stanislao got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Tostão Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Necmi Güleç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Reis having to interfere. MUVUCA succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Fortes & Livres had controlled the match.
