The supporters of Mataruca booed when Elyahu Palmerense Campeao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiaguinho Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gernando da Cunha had several of the Elyahu Palmerense Campeao's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Baltazar Tróia as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 20th minute, Alex Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulysses Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Mazza hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Gernando da Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Baltazar Tróia made a huge save. Nicolas Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Leandro Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Enéas Cunha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baltazar Tróia. Enéas Cunha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Honorato Pacorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltazar Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando da Cunha in the 42nd minute of play. Mataruca's Nicolas Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro da Silveira in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Aírton Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mataruca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aírton Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ademar Ceresso hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Gernando da Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltazar Tróia. Elyahu Palmerense Campeao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gernando da Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0.
